Halloween Buffet Idea
Halloween is such a fun time of year, but can sometimes be a bit scary for the little ones. With that in mind, Amanda Perker wanted to design a whimsical, child-like Halloween party with lots of cute characters and bright colors to “thrill” and not scare the little ones away.
This wonderful Halloween buffet included gumballs and candies, a homemade two-tiered chocolate cake and gorgeous decorated cookies. The cookies with fondant toppers were made by Brittany at Edible Details. The Halloween themed printouts were from Amanda’s Parties To Go Halloween printable set.
Another hit were the OREO GHOST POPS which were made using a mold from Spinning Leaf and then attached to wooden skewers with some ghostly embellishments of cheesecloth and white tissue paper. The candy kabobs were easily made using some ghost Peeps, peach gummy rings, Oreos and a cute little candy corn sucker.
The little stickers for the Hershey’s Kisses are actually a FREE DOWNLOAD that were placed in a witches’ cauldron with plastic hands to make things a little more fun for the kids. The tutorial for the chocolate cake can be found HERE.
